That’s your pay, not the contract value. You’d be hired as a W-2 employee for this job, so taxes and workers’ comp are handled — the hourly figure is before withholding.
The job
A long-running records digitization backlog. You'd work through boxes of paper permits: removing staples, scanning on a department feed scanner, entering the permit number and date into a spreadsheet, and spot-checking image quality. Quiet indoor work, flexible weekday hours, and the single largest listing on this board by total hours. Good if you want volume rather than a one-off shift.
What we handle
- Vendor registration and the bid itself
- Licensing, general liability insurance, and workers’ comp
- All government paperwork and invoicing
- Paying you on our schedule, not the agency’s net-30
You handle showing up and doing the work.
