That’s your pay, not the contract value. You’d be hired as a W-2 employee for this job, so taxes and workers’ comp are handled — the hourly figure is before withholding.
The job
Help set up tables, signage, and voting booths at an assigned polling place the evening before, then return early on election day to assist permanent election staff with queue management and directions. You are NOT serving as an election judge — this is logistics and setup support. Training is a short paid orientation the week prior.

- Paying you on our schedule, not the agency’s net-30
